Frequently Asked Questions
How is this calculated?
Using the daily consumption of cigarettes, the price per pack and the size of the pack itself, we can derive the daily expenses and extrapolate to future periods.
What if I do not smoke every day?
In that case you should average your consumption if you want to get numbers that match your specific case. If you smoke more some days than others, then enter your best estimate of your average daily consumption.
Pack price or price per cigarette?
Enter the pack price and how many cigarettes are in the pack. If you buy cartons, divide the carton by the number of packs inside. You can also use pack as a replacement for pouches in the form above, as long as you stay truthful to your situation.
Does this include tax or price rises?
Use the shelf price you actually pay, as we don't separately include tax. The projection assumes that price stays flat, so long-term totals will actually tend to underestimate.
