1. Introduction
Quit It (“Quit It”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a smoking cessation support application operated by Antonios Evmorfopoulos.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you use the Quit It mobile application and related services (the “App”).
We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
2. Who This App Is For
Quit It is intended for adults aged 18 and over who currently smoke and want behavioural support to quit smoking.
3. Data We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide
- Email address
- Account credentials
- Questionnaire responses related to smoking habits, cravings, triggers, and goals
- User preferences and settings
3.2 Authentication
User authentication is handled by Stytch. We do not store passwords directly.
3.3 Technical and Operational Data
To ensure the App functions reliably and securely, we collect limited technical data:
- Error Monitoring: We use Sentry to collect crash reports, exception traces, and diagnostic context when the App encounters errors. Error events include pseudonymous identifiers (an internal user ID and your Stytch user ID) so we can correlate bug reports across sessions. No email address or other directly identifying information is attached to error events.
- Product Analytics: We use PostHog to understand how the App is used so we can improve it. PostHog receives pseudonymous identifiers (an internal user ID and your Stytch user ID) and event data about feature usage (for example, logging a cigarette or completing a milestone). PostHog does not receive your email address or any other directly identifying information.
- Push Notification Token: We use Pushy to deliver push notifications. This requires storing a device token, which is a unique identifier for your device used solely to send you notifications. This token is not linked to your personal identity.

- No advertising data or ad tracking
- No behavioural analytics for advertising, marketing profiling, or sale to third parties
